| Enquiries and information for the Dorset Area Ramblers council can be sent to
. Area council meetings are held 4 times a year (see
entry on members information page).
Please note if
you are sending something about an event or that has a time
element we have only one means of distributing
information to all the Ramblers in Dorset. Our Dorset
Footnotes magazine is distributed 3 times a year with the walks
program (circulation 2500+). The editor may accept items for
publication and adverts of a suitable nature. When sending
information to be passed on to the editor please note that deadlines
will apply. Typically these will be:
- For the Summer edition (July to October) May 1st.
- For the Autumn/Winter edition (November to February) September
1st.
- For the Spring Edition (March to June) January 1st.
Obviously material can be added to this web site at shorter
notice however not all members are expected to access this site and
distribution to members via the large variety of group walks and
other events across the county (in a variety of locations) is unlikely
to be effective
